Night Mode Function and More

Hi all, Shiro here!

So I finally moved my lazy butt have some time to look for ways to add a Night Mode function to the site.

You can click on the settings button  settings-logo on the right top corner of the page and modify the ‘Background Colours’, resize the font, change it to Arial, turn on the ‘lights off’ mode etc. Feel free to play with it. Click ‘Reset Settings’ if you want to revert back to the original look.

Well, I hope this function will help you guys to read more easily… There’s some cosmetic glitches but I haven’t figured out how to fix them.

Do tell me what you think about the function. All feedback is appreciated!

P.S. If anyone knows how to get rid of this shitty thing here, I will be eternally grateful-

    The settings button is not transparant *triggered*
    Aside from that, fancy settings. Though I wonder if it might be better to offer people just a day and a night mode for simplicity (like wuxiaworld).

    Hello Shiro, nice work!
    About the image in the header, go to your css file and remove these:
    #page:after {
    content: ”;
    width: 1008px;
    height: 30px;
    background-image: url(“images/hfbg.png”);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: bottom left;
    background-size: cover;
    display: block;
    }

    #page:before {
    content: ”;
    width: 1008px;
    height: 35px;
    background-image: url(“images/hfbg.png”);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: top left;
    background-size: cover;
    display: block;
    }

    I believe it should work.

    Okay i managed to remove it, but it looked super ugly so I put it back on. It’s really weird… the ribbons on both sides of the title will change colour but the top and bottom border image won’t….

    I don’t know what are “the ribbons o both sides of the title” but that thing is a white image:

    you can try replacing that white image for another one in color.

    it’s easy you only have to paste this in your css/styles and there would be none of that shit:

    #page::after {
    content: ”;
    width: 1008px;
    height: 30px;
    background-image: none;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: bottom left;
    background-size: cover;
    }
    #page::before {
    content: ”;
    width: 1008px;
    height: 35px;
    background-image:none;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: top left;
    background-size: cover;
    }

    I won’t accept your thanks it’s only $5 Dlls
